Purpose of Project. It is understood and agreed by the parties hereto that the Agency has agreed to provide the Financial Assistance in connection with the Project and to enter into the Project Documents in order to promote, develop, encourage and assist in the acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, improving, maintaining, equipping and furnishing of the Project to advance the job opportunities, health, general prosperity and economic welfare of the people of the Wyoming County, New York and to otherwise accomplish the public purpose of the Act.
Purpose of Project. School Attendance Boundary Realignment is a process used by school districts when it has become apparent that re-distribution of students among schools is necessary. This may be due to a variety of factors, including increasing or decreasing enrollment, housing trends, in and out migration, or facility capacity. The process of modifying attendance boundaries includes both quantitative information, such as enrollment figures and use of GIS, and qualitative information, such as community input and stakeholder opinions. Through a process called geocoding, Xxxx Xxxxxxxx & Associates uses the student database to electronically place each student on a map. School facilities, district boundaries, feeder patterns, and attendance boundaries are also mapped. Unlike a paper map where "what you see is what you get," a GIS map is a combination of many layers of information. The information comes from databases that are linked to the GIS and contain records and statistics. Once all students are mapped, it is possible to develop a variety of attendance boundary scenarios. For each scenario the computer automatically generates the number of students by grade (and other characteristics) in each new attendance boundary. Our GIS software is flexible; there are no restrictions on the size or number of areas to be constructed, and data are produced that make it simple to evaluate large numbers of possible scenarios. We help school districts devise new attendance boundaries. We assist with developing criteria and measures for evaluating possible boundary realignment scenarios. Criteria often include balancing enrollments among schools, maximizing student safety, keeping neighborhoods within one attendance area, maximizing the number of students who stay together as they move from elementary to middle school, and minimizing walking distance to schools. After criteria are specified, Xxxx Xxxxxxxx & Associates can provide a variety of attendance area scenarios. Our GIS software produces high-quality maps that show attendance area boundaries. Purpose of Project. The purpose of the Financial Assistance with respect to the Project is to promote, develop, encourage and assist in the acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, improving, maintaining, equipping and furnishing of the Project Facility to advance job opportunities, health, general prosperity and economic welfare of the people of Nassau County, New York, and to specifically promote the investment commitment, employment commitment, and other commitments of the Company contained herein and in the Company's Application , and to prevent economic deterioration by eliminating blight at the site of the Facility, eliminating blight from the area, and to provide rental housing and affordable housing to the people of Nassau County.
Purpose of Project. It is understood and agreed by the parties hereto that the purpose of the Agency’s provision of Financial Assistance with respect to the Project is to, and that the Agency is entering into the Underlying Lease Agreement, Lease Agreement, PILOT Agreement and Agent Agreement in order to promote, develop, encourage and assist in the acquiring, constructing, reconstructing, improving, maintaining, equipping and furnishing of the Project Facility to advance job opportunities, health, general prosperity and economic welfare of the people of the Counties of Warren and Washington and to otherwise accomplish the public purpose of the Act.

Additionally, the Project will contribute to important State goals as set forth in the New York Community Distributed Generation Program ("CDG") which was approved and enacted by the Public Service Commission in 2015. CDG is part of the New York Reforming the Energy Vision initiatives, which has the goal of having 50% of the State's electricity generated from renewable sources by the year 2030.

Purpose of Project. A multi-disciplinary, multi-entity (Cheyenne MPO, City of Cheyenne, WYDOT, and Laramie County) study of the East Dell Range Blvd and US 30 Corridor concluded in 2008. The study resulted in a recommendation and preliminary design for the Dell Range/US 30 intersection complex modification. The study also developed a prioritized project listing for improvements needed in the corridor to support planned growth in the southeast portion of the Cheyenne urban area. That growth is occurring, and traffic volume is increasing as expected. This project was ranked as the number one priority in the study.
