Purpose of the Position. The objective of the WHO Nepal Country Office is to implement the Country Cooperation Strategy by supporting the Nepal Government in the formulation, implementation and evaluation of national health policies, strategies and plans and developing and managing WHO's technical cooperation programs at the country level. WHO provides guidance and technical support in organizing the humanitarian health response following emergencies and in revitalizing the capacity of the health sector to rebuild and recover from emergencies in appropriate and sustainable ways. The Country Office collaborates with the Government of Nepal and relevant stakeholders in support of their efforts of achieving national health goals; of ensuring the attainment of universal health coverage and of contributing to global and regional public health action by providing need- based technical assistance in national level policy formulation, setting norms and standards, improving knowledge dissemination and management, monitoring country health situation and building sustainable institutional capacity, to play a greater leadership role in different national level policy and technical forums. Within this framework, the specific position will contribute to overall WHO collaborative work related to MPDSR and Birth Defect Surveillance.

Purpose of the Position. The purpose of a Teaching Artist is to share the processes involved in a particular area of Art/STEM expertise with class/workshop attendees. Teaching Artists work within the Maxtivity Studio space, classroom, outdoors, or remotely at a contracted site. They may receive direction and instruction from the Programs Manager and/or the Executive Director.

The purpose of the position is to support Epidemiology and Diseases Control Division (EDCD) by providing technical support, coordination at local level and liaison for the implementation of activities related with strengthening of climate-sensitive diseases surveillance by integrating climate and weather information and other related climate change and health aspects.

This position will: • Provide clinical pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care to patients across all settings within Central Gippsland Health and affiliated regional hospitals including acute inpatient, outpatient and residential aged care • Provide efficient supply of medications to above listed patient groups and maintain accurate dispensing, ordering and receipting information for pharmaceutical stock • Provide medication information and education to nursing, pharmacy and medical staff and students as required • Maintain high standards of quality care and service, reliability and safety • Lead a portfolio (including Antimicrobial Stewardship, Education, Quality use of Medicines etc.) and support pharmacy team to meet related KPI’s This will occur within the principles of care coordination, where patients/clients/residents have access to a highly coordinated health care and community support system.
