Purpose of the Project. (1) The purpose of the Project shall be to enhance the use of the water of the Senqu/Orange River by storing, regulating, diverting and controlling the flow of the Senqu/Orange River and its affluents in order to effect the delivery of specified quantities of water to the Designated Outlet Point in the Republic of South Africa and by utilizing such delivery system to generate hydro-electric power in the Kingdom of Lesotho.
(2) Without prejudice to the provisions of paragraph (1) each Party shall be allowed the opportunity to undertake ancillary developments in its territory including:
(i) the provision of water for irrigation, potable water supply and other uses;
(ii) the development of other projects to generate hydro-electric power, and
(iii) the development of tourism, fisheries and other projects for economic and social development.
Purpose of the Project i. The purpose may be thought of as the “what” -- the essential purpose(s) that the project is expected to address to correct the unsatisfactory condition(s).
ii. The purpose statement begins with defining the solution without being project specific.
iii. The purpose statement should include a list of objectives that meet each of the needs identified.
Purpose of the Project. The RECIPIENT agrees to use DATA only for RESEARCH as described in the purpose of the PROJECT (as described in the DKFZ-Epigenomics Data Transfer Form).
Purpose of the Project. Reshaping Attention and Inclusion Strategies for Distinctively vulnerable people among the forcibly displaced (RAISD) The project ‘Reshaping Attention and Inclusion Strategies for Distinctively vulnerable people among the forcibly displaced’ (RAISD) addresses the need for effective strategies for the attention and inclusion of distinctively Vulnerable Groups among Forcibly Displaced People. Its’ overall objective is to identify these groups, their specific challenges and needs, to be able to discover and provide Tailored Attention and Inclusion Strategies for them. Data acquisition in the Project will consist of surveys, questionnaires, interviews and focus groups.
Purpose of the Project. A. The primary objectives of the Monitoring Project are to:
1. Supplement existing data on major ions, nutrients, and trace elements to enable determination of long-term water quality trends;
2. Examine the differences in water quality among water supplies within the region, especially differences among smaller upland sources, large multi-purpose reservoirs, and run-of-river supplies;
3. Provide tributary loading data and in-lake data for predictive modeling;
4. Establish a database for the presence or absence of synthetic organic compounds in surface waters in the region; and
5. Report results of the monitoring program to governmental officials, the scientific community, and the general public.
B. The objectives for Phase VII of the Monitoring Project are to:
1. Continue fixed-interval water quality monitoring at the sites and frequencies and for the parameters listed on Table 1 of the Monitoring Project Proposal for Phase VI (see Attachment C);
2. Continue water quality data collection at existing tributary sites during high-flow events as shown on Table 2 of Attachment C;
3. Continue stream flow gaging at the sites shown on Table 3 of Attachment C;
4. Conduct additional monitoring and data analysis to ascertain the occurrence and distribution of algal toxins and taste and odor compounds at drinking-water intake sites in the Monitoring Project study area and prepare an interpretive report on the findings; and
5. Support the USGS application for DWQ certification for selected field parameters and laboratory analytes, including nitrogen and phosphorus fractions, chlorophyll a, and selected metals and trace elements.
Purpose of the Project. The purpose of the Project is to install networks of XXX public Fast Charging Stations that address “blackspots” (areas that do not currently have convenient access to public Fast Charging Stations). Given the current early stage of the XXX industry, there are many blackspots within Australia’s capital cities and large regional centres. The objective of the Project is to address blackspots by improving the availability of public XXX Fast Charging Stations which will support XXX uptake by the public and businesses, including fleets.
Purpose of the Project. The purpose of the Project is to research and develop, experiment with, manufacture and market the Products based upon the Technology.
Purpose of the Project. Project power would be sold.
