Qualification Criteria for Works Clause Samples
The 'Qualification Criteria for Works' clause defines the minimum standards or requirements that must be met for a contractor, supplier, or the works themselves to be considered eligible for participation in a project. This typically includes specifications such as technical experience, financial capacity, relevant certifications, or compliance with industry standards. For example, a contractor may need to demonstrate completion of similar projects or possess certain licenses. The core function of this clause is to ensure that only capable and qualified parties are selected, thereby reducing the risk of project failure and ensuring quality outcomes.
