Common use of Reappointment Period Clause in Contracts

Reappointment Period. 36.04.1 If it is found that Faculty Members can be increased in a specific case, the University shall offer re-appointment to those Regular or Probationary Faculty Members who are qualified for this area and who were terminated according to Article 36.03 above within the previous two years, in the reverse order of termination. 36.04.2 Former Faculty Members may extend the two year re-appointment period for an additional twelve months, provided they apply in writing to the President of the University for the extension, at least one month prior to the expiration of the initial re-appointment period.
