Regional Funding. Regional funding for those regions with a viable commiftee structure:- • all regional funds will be held by CABE HQ • each region will be allocated a nominal code, one for income and one for expenditure. • it is the responsibility of each region to manage their funds as they see fit • a monthly spreadsheet will be created by HQ to advise the regions of the funds available to them and forecast for the next 3 months • if the funds of a region fall below £250 without the knowledge of income being made available within the next 3 months, CABE will advise that no further expenditure can be made until events are set up to create further income • regions cannot use their funds for the benefit of 3rd party individuals, grants or student awards without a full wriften justification and without the express permission of CABE in advance of any payment being made • if the income of a region remains below £250 without a clear plan of income generation for a period of 6 months, the region will not be considered viable • normal expenses for regional commiftee members will remain in place and paid within 3/5 working days against a claim form put into CABE HQ; and • The financial viability of a region will be determined by CABE HQ over a 12-month period. Regional funding for those regions where Ambassadors are providing support, CPD and networking opportunities:- • income and expenditure codes that were previously set up will remain in place • income and expenditure will be managed by ▇▇▇▇’▇ Regional Services Co-ordinator • funds will be made available for each event that is set up with advance notice to CABE HQ; and • normal expenses will be paid to Ambassadors within 3/5 working days against a claim form put into CABE HQ. Each Region will have a monthly expenditure report which will be held and updated by The Academic S Regional Service Co-ordinator. This will show: - • the opening balance • a breakdown, of the ▇▇▇▇▇ and loss of any events, by income and expenditure; and • a closing balance. • to provide local representation for members of the Association • to co-ordinate regional activity in order to optimise the delivery of CPD, Events S Regional Services and to exploit membership opportunities • to ensure the local membership is fully informed of all regional meetings, events and Association initiatives • to ensure regional activities achieve and maintain a significant level of recognition and support for the benefit of the members and the Association • to promote CPD ...
Regional Funding. The delegates were provided with a comprehensive overview of the ONOC administered Olympic Solidarity program and the ASC funding initiatives. Key areas covered were: 1. Funding opportunities for NF’s and IFs through the NOCs are categorized under the Olympic Solidarity World and Continental Programs (Annex 7.5) 2. Information from the ASC highlighted the sport for development initiatives in their 7 countries of Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Nauru and Kiribati. 3. ASC provided delegates with an opportunity to feedback on sport for development initiatives it hopes to invest in, in future (Feedback provided in Annex 7.7). 4. Sporting bodies have an opportunity to access Olympic Solidarity through their National Olympic Committees and the Australian Sport Commission through their Country Programs, Sport Development Grants, Pacific Sport Partnerships, Pacific Sport Fellowships and Healthy Islands Through Sports (HITS) initiatives. Questions were also raised on the absence of regional sport organisations in the HITS meeting in March 2012. ▇▇▇ responded with an invitation to attend the strategy meeting in July 2012. There was a clear message for regional organisations to better coordinate sport for development and sport for excellence initiatives for successful outcomes. One of the suggestions is for ASC, OSFO and ONOC combining to create a coordinated approach in receiving and assessing funding applications from organisations engaged in sport in the Pacific.
Regional Funding. (i) Expenditure of regional funds is subject to the authorisation of the relevant regional Project Control Group and lies outside of CWGPCP delegation. The Chair of any regional Project Control Group, should, on a project basis, correspond with the banker regarding the level of delegation for funds. (ii) Regional Project Control Groups should be supplied with financial reports by the fund holder
