Related Loans Sample Clauses
The Related Loans clause defines how loans that are connected or associated with each other are treated under an agreement. It typically specifies the criteria for loans to be considered related, such as being made to the same borrower, guaranteed by the same party, or sharing similar terms. This clause ensures that all relevant loans are grouped together for purposes like calculating exposure limits, enforcing covenants, or determining default events, thereby preventing circumvention of contractual restrictions and providing clarity on the treatment of interconnected lending arrangements.
