Release Time for President. 1. Upon sixty (60) calendar days notice to the Board, the Association shall be granted, upon request, released time for the Association President for one (1) period of his/her school day to conduct Association business. As a condition of the granting of this released time, the Association shall reimburse the Board on a monthly basis for a prorated portion of the salary and retirement of the Association President. The scheduling of the released time shall be upon mutual agreement of the Association President and his/her building principal. 2. The President of the Association shall accrue all rights and privileges provided by this Agreement. At the commencement of the semester following the expiration of the released time, the President of the Association will be returned to the same position held prior to the commencing of released time.
