Common use of Renewal Period Clause in Contracts

Renewal Period. (a) Where a Renewal Period has been specified in Item 9 of the Order Form, the Customer may, in its sole discretion, extend the Term for a period not exceeding the relevant Renewal Period (up to, if any, the maximum number of renewals specified in that Item), by giving the Supplier a notice in writing at least 15 Business Days prior to the end of the then current Term (or such other notice period as may be specified in Item 9 of the Order Form). (b) Subject to clause 1.4(b), any Renewal Period exercised in accordance with clause 5.2(a) will be on the same terms and conditions of this Agreement as in effect at the end of the then current Term, unless the parties agree to amend this Agreement in accordance with clause 39.6.
