Common use of Required Meetings/Exams Clause in Contracts

Required Meetings/Exams. All departmental meetings, physical or mental examinations, and/or conferences required by the Employer, which occur outside of an Officer's regularly scheduled shift will be paid at the applicable rate. The Employer shall provide for payment of applicable fees and directly-related occupational expenses for such required activities. When required to travel, the employer will provide transportation or pay mileage if the employee is required to use their own vehicle. This provision does not apply to routine return-to-work physicals.
