Any employee having information, knowledge or suspicion of any actual or contemplated transaction which is or appears to be in violation of this Policy Statement, should promptly report the matter to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In the event any such transaction involves an Officer of the Corporation, the matter should be reported directly to the Board of Directors. Employees may periodically be required to certify compliance with this Policy Statement. Failure to comply with this Policy Statement will result in disciplinary action that may include reprimand, suspension, demotion or dismissal. Disciplinary measures will also apply to senior executives who condone such illegal or unethical conduct by those reporting to them and do not take immediate measures to correct the same. I have read and understand Symantec’s Business Conduct Guidelines. I will abide by the statement in all respects and realize that Symantec expects its employees to conduct themselves in a manner that is fair, reasonable and honest in relation to the Corporation’s business.
