Rest Period after Working Overtime. (a) When overtime is required to be worked, employees will, wherever reasonably practicable, have at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between hours worked on successive days. (b) If, at the direction of the company, an employee continues work or resumes working ordinary hours without having at least 10 consecutive hours off duty in accordance with clause 17.7(a) of this Agreement, then all of the following shall apply: i Penalty rates of double time shall be payable to the employee until such time as the employee is released from duty; and ii The company will release the employee from duty until the employee has had 10 consecutive hours off duty: and iii The employee will not suffer any loss of pay for any ordinary hours that the employee did not work as a result of being released from duty in accordance with clause 17.7(b)(ii) of this Agreement.

Rest Period after Working Overtime. 19.5.1 If an On-hire Employee works so much overtime that the On-hire Employee has not had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the end of the On-hire Employee's ordinary hours of work on one day and the start of the On-hire Employee's ordinary hours of work on the next day: i. the On-hire Employee will be released from duty after that overtime is finished until the On-hire Employee has had 10 consecutive hours off duty; and ii. there will be no loss of pay for ordinary hours of work time which occur during this absence.
Rest Period after Working Overtime. 26.5.1 Length of the Rest Period When overtime work is necessary it will be arranged where possible for employees to have at least ten consecutive hours off duty between the work of successive days. 26.5.2 Where the employee does not get a 10 hour Rest (a) The following conditions apply to an employee who works so much overtime that the employee has not had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between the end of the employee’s ordinary hours of work on one day and the start of the employee’s ordinary hours of work on the next day: • the employee will be released from duty after that overtime is finished until the employee has had ten consecutive hours off duty, and • there will be no loss of pay for ordinary hours of work time which occur during this absence. (b) The following conditions apply to an employee who, on the instructions of the employer, resumes or continues work without having had ten consecutive hours off duty in accordance with paragraph (a):- • the employee will be paid at double time during ordinary hours and after that until the employee is released from duty; and • the employee will then be entitled to be absent for ten consecutive hours; and • there will be no loss of pay for ordinary hours of work time which occur during this absence.

(b) An employee, other than a casual employee, who works so much overtime between the termination of their ordinary work on one day and the commencement of their ordinary work on the next day, that they have not had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty between those times, will be released after completion of such overtime, until they have had 10 consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for ordinary working time occurring during such a absence. (c) If, on the instruction of the employer, an employee resumes or continues to work without having had 10 consecutive hours off duty, they will be paid at the rate of double time until released from duty for such period. The employee will then be entitled to be absent until they have had 10 consecutive hours off duty without loss of pay for rostered ordinary hours occurring during the absence.

  • Commencement of Interest Periods The first Interest Period shall commence on the Drawdown Date and each subsequent Interest Period shall commence on the expiry of the preceding Interest Period.

  • Compensation for Breakage or Non-Commencement of Interest Periods Borrower shall compensate each Lender, as promptly as practicable after written request by such Lender (which request shall set forth the basis for requesting such amounts and shall be conclusive absent manifest error), for all reasonable losses, expenses and liabilities (including any interest paid or calculated to be due and payable by such Lender to lenders of funds borrowed by it to make or carry its Eurodollar Rate Loans and any loss, expense or liability sustained by such Lender in connection with the liquidation or deployment of such funds but excluding loss of anticipated profits) which such Lender may sustain: (i) if for any reason (other than a default by such Lender) a borrowing of any Eurodollar Rate Loan does not occur on a date specified therefor in a Funding Notice or a telephonic request for borrowing, or a conversion to or continuation of any Eurodollar Rate Loan does not occur on a date specified therefor in a Conversion/Continuation Notice or a telephonic request for conversion or continuation; (ii) if any prepayment or other principal payment of, or any conversion of, any of its Eurodollar Rate Loans occurs on a date prior to the last day of an Interest Period applicable to that Loan; or (iii) if any prepayment of any of its Eurodollar Rate Loans is not made on any date specified in a notice of prepayment given by Borrower.

  • Meal Breaks and Rest Periods On completion of not less than three hours work after commencement time or on completion of not less than two hours work after the meal break weekly Employees will become entitled to a rest period of ten minutes duration.
