RETURN TO WORK FOLLOWING ABSENCE. 1. An employee absent for three (3) consecutive days or more due to illness or disability shall, upon request, provide a physician's statement certifying illness or disability and/or ability to return to work. Physician means a person licensed to practice medicine in this state. 2. Should some questions arise relative to the employee's illness, disability or ability to return to work, the Board may request a medical examination to be administered by a duly licensed physician selected and paid by the Board.
