Review of GMP Basis Project Documents. The Department has selected the Design-Builder, in large part, because of its special expertise in constructing similar projects. Before submitting its Guaranteed Maximum Price, the Design-Builder shall review the GMP Basis Project documents for accuracy, constructability and completeness and shall bring such deficiencies to the attention of the Department and shall cause its Architect to address any such deficiencies. To the extent that any such deficiencies in the GMP Basis Project documents could have been identified by such review by a competent Design-Builder, such deficiencies shall not be the basis for a change in the GMP or delaying the Project Schedule.
