Common use of Right to Continue Clause in Contracts

Right to Continue. Once started in the program, the apprentice shall have the right to continue, providing he/she passes all of the prescribed tests. An apprentice may be subject to layoff, but cannot be bumped. However, in the fifth (5th), sixth (6th), seventh (7th) and eighth (8th) six-month period, an apprentice shall not be subject to layoff.
