Common use of Rights in Documents and Work Clause in Contracts

Rights in Documents and Work. Any and all reports, photographs, surveys, documents, materials, or other work created by Consultant in connection with performing Services shall be owned by County, and Consultant hereby transfers to County all right, title, and interest, including any copyright or other intellectual property rights, in or to the work. Upon termination of this Agreement, any reports, photographs, surveys, and other data and documents prepared by Consultant, whether finished or unfinished, shall become the property of County and shall be delivered by Consultant to the Contract Administrator within seven (7) days after termination of this Agreement. Any compensation due to Consultant may be withheld until all documents are received as provided in this Agreement. Consultant shall ensure that the requirements of this section are included in all agreements with its Subconsultant(s).
