Common use of Safety Responsibility Clause in Contracts

Safety Responsibility. Design-Builder shall be solely responsible for job site safety and shall immediately report any and all job site accidents, including both injury accidents and non-injury accidents to the Manager immediately after the accident becomes known to the Design-Builder. Design-Builder shall have full and sole authority for all safety programs and precautions in connection with the Work. Design-Builder shall use all reasonable efforts to protect the Manager against any deviations or defects in the completed construction Work. Design-Builder shall use all reasonable efforts to protect the Manager and its employees and visitors from personal injury and property damages. Design-Builder shall have full authority to take any action whatsoever on the site regarding safety precautions and procedures.
