SALARY AND OTHER MONETARY ITEMS. 21. ANNUAL WAGE INCREASE
(1) Salary increases shall be negotiated on a yearly basis.
(2) Annual incremental date shall be 1st January of each year.
(3) Employees who have not completed twelve (12) months’ service shall be paid an annual wage increase on a pro-rata basis.
(4) Upon request, the Company shall grant a festival advance equivalent to half month's basic salary, subject to CPF contribution, on the occasion of Chinese New Year, Xxxx Xxxx Puasa, Deepavali or Christmas. An employee shall only be granted one (1) festival advance per calendar year.

SALARY AND OTHER MONETARY ITEMS. (1) The salary ranges of staff members in the grades below shall be as follows: Grade C –– $1,800 –– $2,870 Grade D –– $2,285 –– $3,600 Grade E –– $2,665 –– $4,170 Grade T2 –– $1,800 –– $2,870 Grade T3 –– $2,150 –– $3395 Grade T4 –– $2,385 –– $3,745 Grade T5 Scale 1 –– $2,520 –– $3,950 Scale 2 –– $2,750 –– $4,295
(2) The commencing salary for grade C staff members with a polytechnic diploma shall be $2,000.
(3) The commencing salary of a Technician who has successfully completed a formal apprenticeship shall be:
(a) Higher Nitec –– $1,900
(b) Polytechnic Diploma –– $2,000
(4) A staff member in Grade T2 who has completed 7 years’ service in the grade and whose performance is good shall be upgraded to Grade T3.
(5) A staff member who has 5 years’ service in Grade T5 Scale 1 and whose performance is good shall be upgraded to Grade T5 Scale 2.

SALARY AND OTHER MONETARY ITEMS. 15. SALARY
(1) Prior to 1st July 2014, for staff covered in Appendix 2A of this Agreement, the salary ranges for employees are as set as below: Non-executive employees are emplaced within the job grades, Grade 1 to Grade 4, whereas Executive employees are emplaced on job Grade 5 to Grade 7.
(2) With effect from 1st July 2014, staff covered in Appendix 2C of this Agreement, the salary ranges for employees are as set below: Non-executive employees are emplaced within the job grades, Grade A2 to Grade C1, whereas executive and senior executive employees are emplaced on job Grade D to Grade E1.
