Salary and Placement. A. In consideration of the service rendered by the bargaining unit member, the Board agrees to pay said bargaining unit member a base annual salary as prescribed by the salary schedule of the Board. The initial compensation to be paid under a contract shall be according to the existing salary schedule and that amount shall appear on the contract. When hiring new bargaining unit members the Board will consider the individual’s degree, training and years of experience.
