Sanitary Regulations. Contractor shall provide and maintain such sanitary accommodations for the use of his employees and those of his subcontractors as may be necessary to comply with the requirements and regulations of the local and State Department of Health. At a minimum, necessary sanitary conveniences for the use of the laborers on the work shall be erected and maintained by the Contractor in such a manner and at such points as shall be approved by the City Representative. Use of these facilities must be strictly enforced.

Sanitary Regulations. 27.01 The Employer agrees to furnish a clean, healthful, sufficiently ventilated, properly heated and lighted place for the performance of all work; and all machines or apparatus from which dust, gasses or other impurities are produced or generated shall be equipped in such manner as to protect the health of employees.
Sanitary Regulations. In addition to compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the contractor shall erect and maintain necessary sanitary conveniences for the use of employees on the work. Such conveniences shall be properly secluded from observation, and their use shall be strictly enforced. Such sanitary conveniences shall be constructed in compliance with all laws, ordinances or regulations governing these facilities. The contents of same shall be removed with sufficient frequency to prevent nuisance, and disposed of to the satisfaction of the Engineer. The contractor shall obey and enforce such other sanitary regulations and orders and shall take such precautions against infectious diseases as may be deemed necessary. In case any infectious diseases occur among its employees, it shall arrange for the immediate removal of the patient from the work and his isolation from all persons connected with the work.

Sanitation facilities necessary for Lessee’s use under this Lease shall be installed and maintained by Lessee in accordance with any and all federal, state or local rules regulations and statutes and the provisions of the rules and regulations that control discharge of sewage within Possum Kingdom Lake Regulated Areas, under 31 TAC Sections 285.371 – 285.386, or any revisions or successors thereto. b. Garbage, trash and rubbish shall be properly collected and disposed of in compliance with all lawful regulations governing such wastes, including Brazos River Authority’s rules and regulations. In the event new regulations are adopted by the Brazos River Authority, Lessor shall provide written notice to Lessee of such regulations.

Such facilities shall be made available when the first employees arrive on the site of the Work, shall be properly secluded from public observation, and shall be constructed and maintained during the progress of the Work in suitable numbers and at such points and in such manner as may be required or approved. The Contractor shall maintain the sanitary facilities in a satisfactory and sanitary condition at all times and shall enforce their use. He shall rigorously prohibit the committing of nuisances on the site of the Work, on the lands of the Owner, or on adjacent property. The City shall have the right to inspect such facilities at all times to determine whether or not they are being properly and adequately maintained.
