School Business Leave. 1. Principals are encouraged to request two (2) days of absence in each school year for the purpose of visiting other schools for observation, discussion, and related professional interests. Such absences as recommended and approved by the Superintendent shall not entail loss of pay. 2. Absence of principals for purposes of attending professional meetings or conventions shall be encouraged by the Superintendent and be subject to his recommendation and approval. These shall be without loss of pay unless specifically agreed otherwise in advance.
