SCOPE OF BID. 1.1 The Employer, as defined in the General Conditions of Contract, hereinafter "the Employer”, Bid wishes to receive bids for the Services as described in Section IV, Special Conditions of Contract, hereinafter referred to as "the Services". 1.2 The successful bidder will be expected to complete the Works within the period stated in Special Conditions of Contract. 1.3 Throughout these bidding documents, the terms "bid" and "tender" and their derivatives ("bidder/ tenderer", "bid/ tendered", "bidding/tendering", etc.) are synonymous, and day means calendar day. Singular also means plural.
