Seniority and Permanent Promotions. Employees permanently promoted out of the bargaining unit shall retain overall and classification seniority for a period of three (3) consecutive calendar months. If such employee does not return to a position within the bargaining unit during such period, they shall cease to retain any seniority rights pursuant to this Collective Agreement.
