Separate Contracts. The Owner reserves the right at any time and from time to time upon notice to Contractor to perform, or cause to be performed by other Contractors, other work at the Site in connection with the development of the Project that is not contemplated hereby or that is contemplated hereby if the Contractor and the Owner shall be unable to agree upon a Change Order incorporating such work as Work of the Contractor under this Contract. In either case, the Owner shall assure that such personnel or Contractors do not cause any conflict with the Work of Contractor. Contractor shall afford the Owner and other Contractors reasonable opportunity for the introduction, protection, and storage of material and equipment at the Site and the execution of work, and shall properly connect, if required by Contract Documents, and coordinate its work with theirs. If any work by the Owner or its other Contractors increases Contractor's costs or extends the time of performance, Contractor shall be entitled upon timely claim to a Change Order for payment by Owner of any reasonable costs actually incurred by Contractor as a result thereof and to an extension of time for performance for such reasonable time as the Design Professional shall determine. Contractor has no responsibility hereunder to certify the suitability or correctness of any work performed by Owner's own personnel or other Contractors under direct contract with the Owner. This Article also applies to installation of loose equipment and fixtures by the Owner, Using Agency, or a Separate Contractor.
Separate Contracts. Owner reserves the right to award other contracts in connection with the Project under the same or substantially similar contract terms, including those portions related to insurance and waiver of subrogation. Owner reserves the right to perform operations related to the Project with Owner’s own forces.
Separate Contracts. Additional Contractor responsibilities when the Owner awards separate contracts:
3.3.12.1 The Owner reserves the right to award other contracts in connection with other portions of the Project under these or similar contract conditions.
3.3.12.2 The Owner reserves the right to perform operations related to the Project with the Owner’s own forces.
3.3.12.3 Under a system of separate contracts, the conditions described herein continue to apply except as may be amended by Change Order.
Separate Contracts. A. District reserves the right to let other contracts in connection with the construction of portions of the Project which are not being performed by Contractor hereunder. Any such contracts entered into by District, and the work they provide, shall in no event interfere with the activities of Contractor on the Project, but if they do, District shall be liable to Contractor for its damages in connection with such interference. Contractor shall afford other contractors reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of their materials and the execution of their work and shall properly connect and coordinate the Project with the work of such contractors. Such contractors shall comply with all applicable State safety laws and regulations.
B. If the proper execution of any part of Contractor’s work on the Project depends upon the work of any such contractors, Contractor shall inspect and promptly report to District any patent defects or other problems it identifies in such work that render it unsuitable for such proper execution and results. Contractor is only required to inspect the work of such other contractors prior to commencing its own further work in connection with or in relation to that other work. Further, Contractor is only expected to identify patent defects or other problems, and is not required to do any destructive testing or to monitor the progress of such work by other contractors prior to its completion.
Separate Contracts are Contracts that the District may have with other Contractors, vendors, suppliers, or entities to perform Work on the Project. This may include, but is not limited to Multi- Prime Trade Contractors, furniture installers, testing agencies, clean-up contractors, or network or low voltage contractors. Contractor shall plan for certain other contractors that may also be working on the Project site and address these other contractors in Contractor’s Schedule. See Article 32.

In either case, the Owner shall assure that such personnel or CM/GCs do not cause any conflict with the Work of CM/GC. CM/GC shall afford the Owner and other CM/GCs reasonable opportunity for the introduction, protection, and storage of material and equipment at the Site and the execution of work, and shall properly connect, if required by Contract Documents, and coordinate its work with theirs. If any work by the Owner or its other CM/GCs increases CM/GC's costs or extends the time of performance, CM/GC shall be entitled upon timely claim to a Change Order for payment by Owner of any reasonable costs actually incurred by CM/GC as a result thereof and to an extension of time for performance for such reasonable time as the Design Professional shall determine. Separate Contracts. A. The Owner reserves the right to let other Contracts in connection with the Work, to include deletions in portions of this Contract. The Contractor shall afford other Contractors reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of their materials, machinery, equipment, supplies, and the execution of their Work, and shall properly connect and coordinate his Work with theirs.
B. If any part of the Contractor's Work depends upon the Work of any other contractor for proper execution or results, the Contractor shall inspect and promptly report in writing to the Owner any lack of progress or defects in the other contractor's Work that render it unsuitable for proper execution or results. Failure on the part of the Contractor to so inspect and report shall constitute an acceptance of the other contractor's Work as fit and proper for the reception of the Contractor's Work. No extra time will be allowed the Contractor for failure on the part of the Contractor to so inspect and report on above mentioned unsuitable Work.
C. To insure the proper execution of this subsequent Work, the Contractor shall measure existing Work and shall at once report in writing to the Owner any incompatibility between the existing Work and the Work anticipated by the Contract Documents.
Separate Contracts. 32.1 Reservation of Rights to have other Contractors on Site. District reserves the right to let other contractors enter the Site to perform work as part of its use of the Site. Contractor shall afford other contractors reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of their materials and the execution of their work and shall properly connect and coordinate the Project with the work of such Contractors. Such contractors shall comply with all applicable State safety laws and regulations and shall provide a certificate of insurance naming Contractor as additional insured
