Common use of SERVICE TAX Clause in Contracts

SERVICE TAX. The contract price shall be inclusive of all taxes & duties applicable from time to time except Service Tax which will be paid as applicable at actual against Cenvatable Invoices. The bidder shall indicate in its bid the Service Tax registration no. and in case the Service Tax registration no. is not available, the bidder will give confirmation for obtaining registration with a copy of application for registration before payment of 1st bill. The bidders who are ‘non- resident’ or are from outside India are requested to clearly state whether they have any office in India or not. If they have any office in India, they are requested to give the address of their office situated in India.
