Service with a JuryAn employee shall be granted leave with pay for service with a jury. The employee may keep any money paid by the court for serving on a jury. The Agency reserves the right to petition for removal of the employee from jury duty if, in the Agency's judgment, the operating requirements of the Agency would be hampered.
Service with a Jury. An employee shall be granted leave with pay for service with a jury when such service occurs during the employee’s regularly scheduled shift. When an employee works hours other than those coinciding with the jury service, the employee must request a change in work schedule. The Agency shall grant the employee’s request upon receipt of a copy of the jury summons. The employee may keep any money paid by the court for serving on a jury. The Agency reserves the right to petition for removal of the employee from jury duty.
Service with a JuryThe employee, upon request from the Employer, will pay any money paid by the court for serving on jury to the Employer. An employee who has jury duty will be assigned to day shift for the length of time the employee is on jury duty, if it is necessary to do so for the jury service. Jury service shall be considered time worked for all hours that occur during an employee’s shift.

Such paid leave shall include the time required going to and from the court.
Service with a JuryAn employee shall be granted leave with pay for service 21 with a jury. The employee may keep any money paid by the court for serving 22 on a jury. The Agency reserves the right to petition for removal of the 23 employee from jury duty if, in the Agency's judgment, the operating 24 requirements of the Agency would be hampered.

  • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.
