Common use of SET OFF OF AMOUNT Clause in Contracts

SET OFF OF AMOUNT. Any amount due to one Party by the second Party may be set off against the amount(s) due to the second Party by the first Party. However, such set offs of amounts due to a Party may not be applied against amounts that may become due at a future date to the second Party by the first Party.
