SHIFT, WEEKEND PREMIUMS. (a) The evening shift premium when applicable as per Article 14.10 will be payable between 1500 and 2300 hours. (b) The night shift premium when applicable as per Article 14.10 will be payable between 2300 hours and 0700 hours. F-4 (a) The normal tours of duty are: DAYS 0700 - 1500 EVENINGS 1500 - 2300 NIGHTS 2300 - 0700 Variations to the above tours or the tours identified in the appended Letter of Understanding, will be agreed with the Association prior to implementation. Such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Association. (a) Schedules shall be prepared in such a way that no days off will be separated by a single work day. (b) Subject to the aforesaid qualifications, schedules will be arranged to provide at least four (4) days off in each two (2) week period. (c) Any other arrangement of days off is to be agreed upon between the Manager and the Nurse concerned. (a) A full-time Nurse will not be scheduled to work on two (2) different tour rotations in any two (2) week period unless agreed to by the Nurse in writing. (b) The Hospital will schedule regular part-time Nurses who rotate, to work no more than two (2) different tours in any two (2) week period unless agreed to by the Nurse in writing. (a) All full-time and regular part-time Nurses will be given preference for shift scheduling on the basis of seniority. Nurses will indicate their scheduling preference as to days/evenings or days/nights. (b) A Nurse may request to work a permanent shift (except day shift). Such request shall be granted at the discretion of the Hospital and shall not be unreasonably withheld. However, all such Nurses may be assigned to the day shift from time to time for training, development, reorientation and evaluation purposes. (c) A regular part-time Nurse who wishes to rotate all three (3) shifts must put her desire in writing to the Manager. (i) A full-time Nurse who normally rotates through any calendar year, shall not be scheduled to work in any calendar year more than fifty per cent (50%) of evening or night tours to the amount of time scheduled on the day tour unless mutually agreed to by the Nurse in writing. (ii) The fifty per cent (50%) referenced in (i) above will be calculated on a quarterly basis. Any adjustments required to adhere to the fifty per cent (50%) ratio will be done in the following quarter. (e) A regular part-time Nurse shall not be scheduled to work totally on the evening and night tours unless the Nurse has so requested.
SHIFT, WEEKEND PREMIUMS. (a) The Employer shall pay a shift premium of $1.30 for each hour worked by a Full Time Employee between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (b) The Employer shall pay a weekend premium of $0.60 for each hour worked by a Full Time Employee between 7:00 p.m. Friday and 7:00 p.m. Sunday. (c) Notwithstanding Articles 20.03(a) and (b), effective January 8, 2012, shift and weekend premiums will cease to apply; in lieu of shift and weekend premiums, a 1% across-the- board increase to wage rates will apply as set out in Appendix D - Wages.
SHIFT, WEEKEND PREMIUMS. (a) Employees shall receive a shift premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) for all evening shift hours. (b) Employees shall receive weekend premium of one dollar and forty cents ($1.40) per hour for each hour worked on the weekend. (c) An employee who is requested to work a weekend beyond what is permitted under the normal hours of operation provisions of the Collective Agreement, shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1½) times his/her regular rate of pay for all hours worked on such weekend, unless such weekend is the result of: i) the employee being hired to work primarily weekends; or ii) he/she works the weekend as a result of a shift exchange, or at his/her request. (d) Shift or weekend premiums are not payable on paid holidays. (e) Premium payments are not used for calculating overtime payments. (f) Where an employee who is requested to work overtime works for more than two hours of overtime, and it is not possible for him/her to return home for a meal during that overtime period, he/she shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of a meal, supported by a receipt, to a maximum of eight dollars and fifty cents ($8.50).

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) An employee shall be paid a shift premium of eighty-five cents (85¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500-0700 hours. (b) Effective July 1, 2013, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

  • Weekend Premium An employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and forty-five cents ($1.45) per hour for each hour worked between 2400 hours Friday to 2400 hours Sunday or such other 48 hour period that the Hospital may establish. If an employee is in receipt of premium payment pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, he will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective June 28, 2005, the weekend premium shall be increased to $1.55 per hour.

  • Shift Premiums (a) All employees who are required by the Employer to rotate over two (2) or more shifts shall receive a shift premium of thirty cents ($0.30) for each hour worked on the afternoon or evening shifts only. Shift premium will not be paid for any hour in which an employee receives overtime premium and shift premium will not form part of the employee's straight time hourly rate. (b) In no event shall there be any pyramiding of benefits or payments.

  • Overtime and Premium Pay A nurse shall be paid at the rate of one and one- half (1½) times the nurse’s regular hourly rate of pay for all hours worked in any one category listed below, including statutory overtime pay under 9.4.1 or premium pay under 9.4.2 through

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Overtime Equalization The assignment of overtime shall be reasonably equalized within classifications. The normal maximum hours officers will be scheduled is (15) fifteen hours. Upon field training competition, probationary officers will begin their total overtime hours on the overtime equalization chart at the average of all members within the officer classification. An overtime equalization chart shall be maintained within the department. The chart shall list all overtime offers and each officer’s declined and accepted hours for each particular offer. Each time an officer is offered overtime, the number of overtime hours worked, or the number of hours declined, will be credited to officer’s chart. The overtime equalization chart shall be posted monthly.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.

  • INTERIM MAINTENANCE PERIOD During the interim maintenance period between obtaining of the completion certificate of such Project and formation and operationalization of the Association the Promoter shall through itself or through a facility management company to run, operate, manage and maintain the Common Areas. The Promoter shall endeavour that the committee responsible for the maintenance and operation of the Common Areas will be required to provide manpower for maintaining the Common Areas, wherever required, and to collect maintenance charges and also guest charges and the user charges for the utilities being provided on “pay by use” basis, if any. The maintenance and management of Common Areas by the committee will primarily include but not limited to maintenance of water works, common electrical installations, DG Sets, landscaping, driveways, parking areas, lobbies, lifts and staircases, AMC’s etc. It will also include safety and security of the Project such as fire detection and protection and management of general security control of the Project. The Rules/ Bye Laws to regulate the use and maintenance of the Common Areas shall during the interim maintenance period shall be framed by the Promoter with such restrictions as may be necessary for proper maintenance and all the Allottees are bound to follow the same. After the Common Areas of the Project are handed over to the Association, the Association may adopt the Rules and the Bye laws framed by the Promoter, with or without amendments, as may be deemed necessary by the Association.

  • Annual Leave Loading During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading of 17.5 per cent calculated on the employee’s normal hourly rate of pay and the daily fares allowance if applicable. The loading will also apply to proportionate leave on lawful termination.

  • Maintenance Period During the Maintenance Period the Developer shall at its own expense maintain repair and otherwise keep the Works in good working order and repair to the reasonable satisfaction of xxx Xxxxxxxxxx unless xxx Xxxxxxxxxx shall declare that any required maintenance and/or repair is an emergency in which case the Developer shall carry out the said maintenance and/or repair immediately
