Common use of Sick Leave and Probation Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave and Probation. A newly hired regular employee shall be on probation for a period of four hundred and sixty-two (462) regular scheduled hours of work. During the probationary period, there shall be no entitlement to paid sick leave. After the first 462 regular scheduled hours of work an accumulation of 31.88 hours sick time will be credited to that employee.
