Common use of Sick Time Off - Accrual Clause in Contracts

Sick Time Off - Accrual. 1) Full-time RNs shall accrue eight hours of sick time off for each month of completed service. Paid sick time off may not be used in advance of accrual. 2) RNs working less than a full-time schedule shall accrue sick time off on the same pro-rata basis that their employment schedule bears to a full-time schedule. 3) Sick time off accrues at a rate of one (1) hour for every forty (40) hours worked when unpaid time off exceeds eighty (80) hours (prorated for part time) in any calendar month.
