Common use of Space for Meetings Clause in Contracts

Space for Meetings. The Employer shall provide the Union with the ability to book and use University premises as meeting rooms on the same basis as other internal administrative University users to hold meetings and to sponsor educational functions such as lectures, seminars, and workshops for members of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology community on the University premises on the same basis as other internal University users subject to the University’s Booking and Use of Space Policy. Where the Union sponsors an external group to hold a meeting, educational function or workshop, the external user must be disclosed and the booking of space will be handled on the same basis as external users, and subject to the University’s Booking and Use of Space Policy.
