Space Preparation Fee (Georgia. In Georgia, the Space Preparation Fee is a one-time fee, assessed per arrangement, per location. It recovers a portion of costs associated with preparing the Collocation Space, which includes survey, engineering of the Collocation Space, design and modification costs for network, power, building and support systems. This is a set fee of $100 per square foot as established by the Georgia Public Service Commission Order in Docket No. 7061-U. In the event ALEC Inc., opts for non-enclosed space, the space preparation fee will be assessed based on the total floor space dedicated to ALEC Inc., as prescribed in this Section 8 and will be billed based upon ALEC Inc.,’s first billing cycle after Firm Order.
