SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR SHIFT WORKERS. 11.5.1 For the purpose of this clause: (a) Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00 p.m. and at or before midnight. (b) Night shift means any shift finishing subsequent to midnight and at or before 8.00 a.m. (c) Continuous work means work carried on with consecutive shifts of employees throughout the 24 hours of each of at least six consecutive days without interruption except during breakdown or meal breaks or due to unavoidable causes beyond the control of the Civilmart (d) rostered shift means a shift of which the employee concerned has had at least 48 hours’ notice. Where requested and agreed to by an employee less than 48 hours notice may be given and accepted by an employee. An employee in such situation is required to have a 10 hour break from the last shift worked before recommencing work. After consultation with employee(s) the span of hours over which shifts may be worked may be altered at either end of their span.

SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR SHIFT WORKERS. 22.1 Alteration of shift work span of hours By agreement between the employer and the majority of employees concerned, the span of hours over which shifts may be worked may be altered by up to one hour at either end of the span.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS FOR SHIFT WORKERS. 41.12 An Employee who is defined as a Shift Worker will be entitled to receive eight hours’ pay for a public holiday where they are not rostered to work subject to the below. Part- time Shift Workers will be entitled to a payment equivalent to 10% of their ordinary hours worked in the fortnightly pay cycle.

  • Special Provisions for Affected Systems For the re-payment of amounts advanced to Affected System Operator for System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades, the Developer and Affected System Operator shall enter into an agreement that provides for such re-payment, but only if responsibility for the cost of such System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades is not to be allocated in accordance with Attachment S to the ISO OATT. The agreement shall specify the terms governing payments to be made by the Developer to the Affected System Operator as well as the re-payment by the Affected System Operator.

  • Additional Provisions Respecting Insurance (a) All insurance required by this Tenant Agency Compliance Agreement shall be procured and maintained in financially sound and generally recognized responsible insurance companies authorized to write such insurance in the State and selected by the entity required to procure the same. The company issuing the policies required by Section 2.1(a) hereof shall be rated “A” or better by A.M. Best Co., Inc. in Best’s Key Rating Guide. Such insurance may be written with deductible amounts comparable to those on similar policies carried by other companies engaged in businesses similar in size, character and other respects to those in which the procuring entity is engaged. All policies of insurance required by Section 2.1 hereof shall provide for at least thirty (30) days prior written notice to the Agency of the restriction, cancellation or modification thereof. The policy evidencing the insurance required by Section 2.1(c) hereof shall name the Agency as an additional insured. All policies evidencing the insurance required by Section 2.1 (d)(ii) and (iv) shall name the Agency and the Tenant as additional insureds.

  • General Provisions for all Insurance Coverage 8.24.1 Without limiting Contractor's indemnification of County, and in the performance of this Contract and until all of its obligations pursuant to this Contract have been met, Contractor shall provide and maintain at its own expense insurance coverage satisfying the requirements specified in Paragraphs 8.24 and 8.25 of this Contract. These minimum insurance coverage terms, types and limits (the “Required Insurance”) also are in addition to and separate from any other contractual obligation imposed upon Contractor pursuant to this Contract. The County in no way warrants that the Required Insurance is sufficient to protect the Contractor for liabilities which may arise from or relate to this Contract.

  • Attachment C, Standard State Provisions for Contracts and Grants Attachment C is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced by the Attachment C December 15, 2017 attached to this Amendment. Taxes Due to the State. Contractor certifies under the pains and penalties of perjury that, as of the date this contract amendment is signed, the Contractor is in good standing with respect to, or in full compliance with a plan to pay, any and all taxes due the State of Vermont. Child Support (Applicable to natural persons only; not applicable to corporations, partnerships or LLCs). Contractor is under no obligation to pay child support or is in good standing with respect to or in full compliance with a plan to pay any and all child support payable under a support order as of the date of this amendment.

  • Solicitations for Subcontracts Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment. In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the Engineer for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor/subconsultant or supplier shall be notified by the Engineer of the Engineer's obligations under this Contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin.

  • Names of Stewards The Union shall notify the Employer in writing of the name of each Xxxxxxx and the area the Xxxxxxx represents and the name of the Chief Xxxxxxx, before the Employer shall be required to recognize the Xxxxxxx.
