Special Selection for Other Positions. A non-probationary career employee who becomes disabled and who has received vocational rehabilitation services may be selected for a position without the requirement that the position be publicized.
Special Selection for Other Positions. A regular status employee who becomes disabled and who has received vocational rehabilitation services may be selected for a position within the unit without the requirement that the position be posted when approved by the designated University official.

An employee who becomes disabled shall be assigned to a vacant position for which the employee is qualified with or without reasonable accommodation without the requirement that the position be publicized, where such assignment is selected as a reasonable accommodation pursuant to this Article and University-wide and/or local procedures.
