Sports activities. The following coverage is given by extension of the Table of Coverage. Are covered: - the practise of usual modern sports as an amateur, including all training course, initiative and discovery activities, if the insurance cover taken out by the clubs in which these sporting activities are practised is insufficient. - “Competitions, races and matches” when they are friendly, unofficial and in the framework of leisure activities.
Sports activities. Leisure and holiday sports, as well as those practised in the framework of school, university or extra-curricular activities are considered to be leisure sports on condition that they are practised as “amateur” sports. Sports or activities that have become usual are also covered: - the practise of winter sports, including skiing and sleighing, - ocean cruises, - the use as a passenger of any aircraft, - school and university sports except for official competitions, - the practise of ice hockey in the Countries and regions where this sport is practised by people of the same age as the policy holders.
Sports activities. Qualified Bus Drivers then qualified Employees of the bargaining unit shall have first right of refusal for all sports activity runs that include more than twelve (12) students. Any sport shall constitute a sport activity run. An athletic contest shall be defined as any athletic contest involving two (2) or more schools/contestants. Selection of qualified Employees for specific sports activity runs shall be through a rotation list, as described in Appendix D of this Agreement. The rotation list will only be changed through negotiations. The Xxx County School District reserves the right to transport up to twelve (12) students in vehicles other than a school bus at any time with no limitation on the number of trips for the purpose of any sport activity or athletic contest. The Xxx County School District reserves the right to transport more than twelve (12) students in carriers other than a Xxx County School Bus for the purpose of any sport activity or athletic contest up to twenty (20) times each school year. The District will notify the Organization in writing of its intent to implement this provision of the Article, not less than five (5) working days before the trip departs.

Sports activities. The school is involved in a variety of sports activities, competitions and festivals, organised between individual schools, or as part of local/area/national leagues and competitions. Consequently students are invited to represent the school/Redditch district/county/region in the above. The majority of these sports events are held at the end of the school day; although some take place during the school day (particularly during the winter period) or during evenings or weekends. The PE department will inform students at the earliest opportunity of a specific event, together with details of approximate times, venues, requirements and other relevant information considered necessary as part of risk assessment for the event. The majority of sports fixtures are either at Tudor Grange Academy Redditch or at local schools with verbal communication provided to the student. For activities taking place a significant distance away from school or involving more complex arrangements this information will be shared through a letter to parents/carers. A fortnightly calendar of sports activities and fixtures is displayed in the PE department, on the PE office notice- board and on the PE department website (accessed via the Tudor Grange Academy Redditch website). This calendar is published weekly and is distributed to Heads of Year and to school reception. Students are encouraged to become aware of likely forthcoming involvement and communicate this to parents/carers. Parents/carers should contact the PE department for specific enquiries regarding their son/daughter’s involvement or arrangements. In the event of last minute changes or cancellation, students wherever possible will be informed by the PE department. Students can use the PE office phone to contact parents /other adults involved in transport arrangements. Parents/carers are responsible for agreeing and arranging suitable arrangements for the safe return of their son/daughter following an event; either upon return to Tudor Grange Academy Redditch or directly from a local school/sports venue. Consideration should be given to the age and individual needs of the student, time of year and the estimated time of completion of the event. Students awaiting collection at Tudor Grange Academy Redditch can wait in the Sports Centre reception if the school reception is closed; a similar safe waiting area will be made available at local schools/sports venues.   • Religious Activities The Subrecipient agrees that funds provided under this Agreement will not be utilized for inherently religious activities prohibited by 24 CFR 570.200(j), such as worship, religious instruction, or proselytization.

  • Business Activities The Company will not, and will not permit any of its Restricted Subsidiaries to, engage in any business other than Permitted Businesses, except to such extent as would not be material to the Company and its Restricted Subsidiaries taken as a whole.

Neither Company nor any of its Subsidiaries is engaged principally, or as one of its important activities, in the business of extending credit for the purpose of purchasing or carrying any Margin Stock. B.   • Activities Except with the prior written consent of the Board, Executive will not during his employment with the Company undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise, other than ones in which Executive is a passive investor. Executive may engage in civic and not-for-profit activities so long as such activities do not materially interfere with the performance of his duties hereunder.

  • Outside Activities (a) The General Partner, for so long as it is the General Partner of the Partnership (i) agrees that its sole business will be to act as a general partner or managing member, as the case may be, of the Partnership and any other partnership or limited liability company of which the Partnership is, directly or indirectly, a partner or member and to undertake activities that are ancillary or related thereto (including being a Limited Partner in the Partnership) and (ii) shall not engage in any business or activity or incur any debts or liabilities except in connection with or incidental to (A) its performance as general partner or managing member, if any, of one or more Group Members or as described in or contemplated by the IPO Registration Statement, (B) the acquiring, owning or disposing of debt securities or equity interests in any Group Member, (C) the guarantee of, and mortgage, pledge, or encumbrance of any or all of its assets in connection with, any indebtedness of any Group Member or (D) the performance of its obligations under the Omnibus Agreement. (b) Subject to the terms of Section 7.5(c), each Unrestricted Person (other than the General Partner) shall have the right to engage in businesses of every type and description and other activities for profit and to engage in and possess an interest in other business ventures of any and every type or description, whether in businesses engaged in or anticipated to be engaged in by any Group Member, independently or with others, including business interests and activities in direct competition with the business and activities of any Group Member, and none of the same shall constitute a breach of this Agreement or any duty otherwise existing at law, in equity or otherwise, to any Group Member or any Partner. None of any Group Member, any Limited Partner or any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement, any Group Member Agreement, or the partnership relationship established hereby in any business ventures of any Unrestricted Person. (c) Subject to the terms of Section 7.5(a) and Section 7.5(b), but otherwise notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, (i) the engaging in competitive activities by any Unrestricted Person (other than the General Partner) in accordance with the provisions of this Section 7.5 is hereby approved by the Partnership and all Partners, (ii) it shall be deemed not to be a breach of any duty or any other obligation of any type whatsoever of the General Partner or any other Unrestricted Person for the Unrestricted Persons (other than the General Partner) to engage in such business interests and activities in preference to or to the exclusion of the Partnership and (iii) the Unrestricted Persons shall have no obligation hereunder or as a result of any duty otherwise existing at law, in equity or otherwise, to present business opportunities to the Partnership. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement or any duty otherwise existing at law or in equity, the doctrine of corporate opportunity, or any analogous doctrine, shall not apply to any Unrestricted Person (including the General Partner). No Unrestricted Person (including the General Partner) who acquires knowledge of a potential transaction, agreement, arrangement or other matter that may be an opportunity for the Partnership, shall have any duty to communicate or offer such opportunity to the Partnership, and such Unrestricted Person (including the General Partner) shall not be liable to the Partnership, to any Limited Partner or any other Person bound by this Agreement for breach of any duty by reason of the fact that such Unrestricted Person (including the General Partner) pursues or acquires for itself, directs such opportunity to another Person or does not communicate such opportunity or information to the Partnership, provided that such Unrestricted Person does not engage in such business or activity using confidential or proprietary information provided by or on behalf of the Partnership to such Unrestricted Person. (d) The General Partner and each of its Affiliates may acquire Units or other Partnership Interests in addition to those acquired on the Closing Date and, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, shall be entitled to exercise, at their option, all rights relating to all Units and/or other Partnership Interests acquired by them. The term “Affiliates” when used in this Section 7.5(d) with respect to the General Partner shall not include any Group Member.

  • Promotional Activities ‌ 19 At the request of North Sound BH-ASO, Provider shall display promotional materials in its 20 offices and facilities as practical, in accordance with applicable law and cooperate with and 21 participate in all reasonable marketing efforts. Provider shall not use any North Sound BH- 22 ASO name in any advertising or promotional materials without the prior written permission of 23 North Sound BH-ASO.

  • Outside Businesses Subject to the provisions of Section 6.3, any Covered Person, the Sponsor, the Delaware Trustee and the Property Trustee may engage in or possess an interest in other business ventures of any nature or description, independently or with others, similar or dissimilar to the activities of the Trust, and the Trust and the Holders of Securities shall have no rights by virtue of this Trust Agreement in and to such independent ventures or the income or profits derived therefrom, and the pursuit of any such venture, even if competitive with the activities of the Trust, shall not be deemed wrongful or improper. No Covered Person, the Sponsor, the Delaware Trustee or the Property Trustee shall be obligated to present any particular investment or other opportunity to the Trust even if such opportunity is of a character that, if presented to the Trust, could be taken by the Trust, and any Covered Person, the Sponsor, the Delaware Trustee and the Property Trustee shall have the right to take for its own account (individually or as a partner or fiduciary) or to recommend to others any such particular investment or other opportunity. Any Covered Person, the Delaware Trustee and the Property Trustee may engage or be interested in any financial or other transaction with the Sponsor or any Affiliate of the Sponsor, or may act as depositary for, trustee or agent for, or act on any committee or body of holders of, securities or other obligations of the Sponsor or its Affiliates.

  • Other Activities Your services pursuant to this Agreement shall not be deemed to be exclusive, and you may render similar services and act as an underwriter, distributor or dealer for other investment companies in the offering of their shares.

  • Competing Activities Notwithstanding any duty otherwise existing at law or in equity, (i) neither a Member nor a Manager of the Company, or any of their respective affiliates, partners, members, shareholders, directors, managers, officers or employees, shall be expressly or impliedly restricted or prohibited solely by virtue of this Agreement or the relationships created hereby from engaging in other activities or business ventures of any kind or character whatsoever and (ii) except as otherwise agreed in writing or by written Company policy, each Member and Manager of the Company, and their respective affiliates, partners, members, shareholders, directors, managers, officers and employees, shall have the right to conduct, or to possess a direct or indirect ownership interest in, activities and business ventures of every type and description, including activities and business ventures in direct competition with the Company.
