STATE LAND SURVEYING. State Land Surveying includes the performance of land surveying associated with “the location or relocation of original land grant boundaries and corners; the calculation of area and the preparation of field note descriptions of both surveyed and un-surveyed land or any land in which the State or the Public Free School Fund has an interest; the preparation of maps showing such survey results; and the field notes and maps of which are to be filed in the General Land Office,” as quoted in the Surveyors Act.
