Statutory Regulations. The materials, equipment and instruments forming part of this contract are to comply in all respect with any relevant local statutory regulations, by laws & orders currently in force.
Statutory Regulations. 10.1 The Cardholder(s) agrees to comply with all regulations issued from time to time by the Department of Exchange Control or similar Regulatory Authority, which may be affected by use of the Card(s) and to indemnify of any loss, claim or expenses incurred by the Bank as a result of non compliance or breach of any such regulations in force.
10.2 The Cardholder(s) shall not use the Card(s) for capital transactions and purchase/ import consumer goods in commercial quantities outside Sri Lanka.
10.3 In the event the use of this Card necessitates Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or withdrawal from ATM’s in foreign currency, the same will be subjected to regulations issued by the Department of Exchange Control from time to time and will be for authorised purposes only.
10.4 The Cardholder(s) shall surrender the Card(s) to the Bank in the event the Cardholder(s) migrates, leaves Sri Lanka for employment overseas or is deemed ‘non-resident’ as per definitions of Exchange Control Regulations in force from time to time.
10.5 The Bank will comply with the requirements of the Controller of Exchange or any other regulatory authorities as stipulated from time to time and will disclose such transactions to relevant authorities under prevailing Rules and Regulations of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
10.6 The Bank may on its own accord cancel the Card(s) without notice to the Cardholder(s) in the event the Bank has any reason whatsoever to believe that there has been a violation of the Exchange Control Regulations or any other statutory regulations in force at the time of such cancellation.
10.7 The Card/s is not to be used for any unlawful activity deemed as an offence under Sri Lankan Law. If any Cardholder is found to have used the Credit Card for such unlawful activity, the Bank reserves the right to immediately terminate the card facility and inform details of such transaction to the CBSL.
Statutory Regulations. All statutory requirements for the valid consummation of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement shall have been fulfilled, all authorizations, consents and approvals of all non-governmental; third parties, and all governmental authorities required to be obtained in order to permit consummation of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement and to permit the business currently carried on by it to continue unimpaired immediately following the Closing Date shall have been obtained.
Statutory Regulations. 16.1 The Supplier shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to this Contract, including any specific industry regulations or orders or codes of practice or those of any applicable jurisdiction (including where the Services are provided in Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands, then any and all applicable local laws and regulations), and further shall do so at its own expense.
16.2 It is a fundamental condition of this Contract, not only that all technical specifications and manufacturing standards referred to or implied into this Contract are observed, but also that any machinery, tools, substances, components or equipment supplied or installed under this Contract shall so far as is reasonably practicable be so formulated, designed, constructed finished and packaged as to be safe and without risks to health. Further, if any conditions are necessary to ensure such safety and harmlessness in use, or any such machinery, tools, substances, components or equipment possess dangerous properties whether in use or otherwise, appropriate and conspicuous labels or other warnings will (so far as practicable) be affixed to or appear on every applicable item or container of such.
16.3 Where the Supplier carries out any Services on the Customer's premises, the Supplier shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that those premises (so far as within his control) and any consequent works are at all times safe and without risks to the health of its own employees and of all other persons.
Statutory Regulations. The Consultant shall in all matters arising in the performance of this Contract, comply with all relevant legislation.
Statutory Regulations a. The Board will comply with the standards of and shall ensure that each workplace is provided with copies of the:
i. Occupational Health and Safety Regulation to the Workers’ Compensation Act, and
ii. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Information Kits.
b. The parties recognize the authority of the regulatory agency charged with the administration of the statutory regulations identified in Article D.27.3.a and, in the event of a difference between the parties over whether a regulation is or is not being met, the difference will be referred to the regulatory agency.
c. The Board Policies relating to health and safety will be available at all worksites for the information of staff.

The Cardholder agrees to comply with all regulations issued from time to time by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka or similar Regulatory Authority, which may be affected by the use of the Card(s) and to indemnify of any loss, claim or expense incurred by the Bank as a result of non - compliance or breach of any such regulation in force.
14.2. The Cardholder shall not use the Card for capital transactions and purchase/import consumer goods in commercial quantities.
14.3. In the event the use of this Card necessitates Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or withdrawal from ATM’s in foreign currency, the same will be subject to Regulations and Directions issued under the provisions of the Foreign Exchange Act No 12 of 2017 and other regulations issued by any other regulatory authority from time to time and will be for authorized purposes only.
14.4. The card is issued on the condition that if the card holder migrates or leaves Sri Lanka for employment abroad, the card should be surrendered to the Bank except in the event that the card is issued against funds lying to the credit of a Personal Foreign Currency Account (PFCA) or a Business Foreign Currency Account (BFCA) and on the basis that outstanding amounts are settled from inward remittances or transfers from foreign currency accounts.
14.5. The Bank will comply with the requirements of the Director, Foreign Exchange or any other regulatory authorities as stipulated from time to time and will disclose such transactions to relevant authorities under prevailing Rules and Regulations of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
14.6. The Bank may on its own accord cancel the Card without notice to the Cardholder(s) in the event the Bank has any reason whatsoever to believe that there has been a violation of the Foreign Exchange Regulations or any other statutory regulations in force at the time of such cancellation.
Statutory Regulations. Both Parties shall in all matters relating to the performance of the Agreement comply with all Acts of Parliament and with all orders, regulations and bye-laws made with statutory authority by Government Departments or by local or other authorities. The cost to each Party of meeting the requirements of this Clause shall be borne by that Party. If the cost to the Supplier of the performance of the Agreement shall be increased or reduced by reason of the making after the date of the Agreement of any new Law or order or regulation having the force of Law as referred to in Clause 21.1 or of the making of any change to any such Law, order or regulation in force at the date of Agreement that shall be applicable to the Agreement (other than any tax on profits), the amount of such increase or reduction shall be paid to or repaid by the Supplier as appropriate.
Statutory Regulations. 14.1. The Buyer shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory and official regulations associated with the further use and/or resale of the Seller’s goods.
