Common use of Stipends Clause in Contracts

Stipends. In addition to their regular salaries, academic staff members with an administrative appointment shall receive a stipend as provided in Appendix A. An academic staff member appointed in an acting position for one month or more shall receive the stipend of the regular member, prorated to the term of the appointment, part months to count as full months. No stipends shall be paid for administrative appointments of less than one month. An administrative stipend is taxable income and shall be counted as income when calculating member benefits that are based upon income.
