Student Behavior Supports. The Board of Directors, administration and staff shall support a behavior support policy that is consistent in application throughout the district, always taking fairness into consideration. In the maintenance of a sound learning environment, the district shall establish and enforce standards for acceptable behavior on the part of all students who attend schools in the District. Discipline shall be enforced fairly and consistently, and with consideration for racial equity. The Board and the Superintendent shall support and uphold teachers in their efforts to maintain equitable discipline in the district and shall give timely response to all teachers' requests regarding discipline problems provided the teacher has followed established District policy. Copies of the District policy shall be provided to each teacher at orientation or before the first student day, whichever occurs first. Student discipline and equity shall be a standing agenda item at the liaison meetings. In order to preserve a safe, beneficial and humane learning environment for all students and staff in the Centralia School District, the following principles are established: 1. Any student who creates a disruption of the educational process and/or violation of disciplinary standards while under a teacher's immediate supervision, may be excluded by the teacher from his or her individual classroom and instructional activity area for all or any portion of the balance of the school day or up to the following two days or until the principal or designee and teacher have conferred, whichever occurs first; PROVIDED that, except in extenuating circumstances, the teacher shall have first attempted interventions; PROVIDED FURTHER that, in no event, without the consent of the teacher, shall an excluded student be returned during the balance of that class or activity period.

Student Behavior Supports. 9.5.1 In the process of maintaining a sound learning environment, the District has instituted, in compliance with WAC 000-00-000 and RCW 28A.600.010, a student conduct policy, prohibiting specific behaviors and stipulating that those behaviors may constitute cause for discipline, suspension, or expulsion. It is the intent of the Board of Directors that all students, parents, and District employees who deal directly with students have access to and an understanding of Washington laws and regulations pertaining to procedural and substantive rights of students. 9.5.2 Authority is given to Employees and their designated supervisors to administer discipline for non-compliance with rules of conduct and to administer emergency removal from a class, subject, or activity in accordance with WAC 000-00-000. Each school shall have a plan that is communicated to staff regarding who is responsible if/when no administrator is in the building. In addition, each Employee is empowered to recommend suspensions and expulsions for such misconduct. Discipline shall be enforced fairly and consistently regardless of race, creed, sex, or other status. In the exercise of disciplinary authority, Employees shall use reasonable and professional judgment.
Student Behavior Supports. Each school will review/revise their building behavior support plan to include additional guidance for in-person instruction, given the current conditions and requirements due to COVID. These plans should be reviewed/revised through a collaborative process with educators, and will address at a minimum the following issues: a. Escort and safe location for a student who is removed from the classroom. b. Supports for teachers when a student exhibits unsafe behaviors that may endanger themselves or others. This may include removing other's masks, getting close to others, or physical aggression. c. Procedure to use when a student refuses to wear a face covering (after appropriate mask wearing instruction and reminders). d. Procedures and prevention techniques to be used with students who may elope. e. Any other necessary behavior supports. f. Students sent to the office for not wearing a mask or not wearing mask properly will be treated as a health-related issue and is not considered a classroom exclusion.

  • Child Support (Applicable if the Party is a natural person, not a corporation or partnership.) Party states that, as of the date the Agreement is signed, he/she: a. is not under any obligation to pay child support; or b. is under such an obligation and is in good standing with respect to that obligation; or c. has agreed to a payment plan with the Vermont Office of Child Support Services and is in full compliance with that plan. Party makes this statement with regard to support owed to any and all children residing in Vermont. In addition, if the Party is a resident of Vermont, Party makes this statement with regard to support owed to any and all children residing in any other state or territory of the United States.

  • Customer Support and Training System Agency will provide support for the CMBHS, including problem tracking and problem resolution. System Agency will provide telephone numbers for Grantees to obtain access to expert assistance for CMBHS-related problem resolution. System Agency will provide initial CMBHS training. Grantee shall provide subsequent ongoing end-user training.

  • Customer Support If Customer is entitled to receive Customer Support as part of a separately purchased Service Plan, Sage warrants that while Customer’s Service Plan is in effect and if it has paid all required Service Plan fees, Sage will use qualified personnel to provide Customer Support in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Customer’s sole remedy under this section 5.2 is limited to Sage’s re-performance of the Customer Support services giving rise to Customer’s claim.

  • Qualified Medical Child Support Order A child who would otherwise meet the eligibility requirements and is required to be covered by a Qualified Medical Child Support Order (QMCSO) is considered an eligible dependent.

  • Loop Provisioning Involving Integrated Digital Loop Carriers 2.6.1 Where Xxxx has requested an Unbundled Loop and BellSouth uses IDLC systems to provide the local service to the End User and BellSouth has a suitable alternate facility available, BellSouth will make such alternative facilities available to Xxxx. If a suitable alternative facility is not available, then to the extent it is technically feasible, BellSouth will implement one of the following alternative arrangements for Xxxx (e.g. hairpinning): 1. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to any spare copper that exists to the customer premises. 2. Roll the circuit(s) from the IDLC to an existing DLC that is not integrated. 3. If capacity exists, provide "side-door" porting through the switch. 4. If capacity exists, provide "Digital Access Cross Connect System (DACS)- door" porting (if the IDLC routes through a DACS prior to integration into the switch). 2.6.2 Arrangements 3 and 4 above require the use of a designed circuit. Therefore, non- designed Loops such as the SL1 voice grade and UCL-ND may not be ordered in these cases. 2.6.3 If no alternate facility is available, and upon request from Xxxx, and if agreed to by both Parties, BellSouth may utilize its Special Construction (SC) process to determine the additional costs required to provision facilities. Xxxx will then have the option of paying the one-time SC rates to place the Loop.

  • CLAIMS SUPPORT The Board shall complete and submit the Trust Plan Administrator’s Waiver of Life Insurance Premium Plan Administrator Statement to the Trust Plan Administrator for life waiver claims when the Trust Plan Administrator does not administer and adjudicate the LTD benefits.

  • Innovative Scheduling Schedules which are inconsistent with the Collective Agreement provisions may be developed in order to improve quality of working life, support continuity of resident care, ensure adequate staffing resources, and support cost-efficiency. The parties agree that such innovative schedules may be determined locally by the Home and the Union subject to the following principles: (a) Such schedules shall be established by mutual agreement of the Home and the Union; (b) These schedules may pertain to full-time and/or part-time employees; (c) The introduction of such schedules and trial periods, if any, shall be determined by the local parties. Such schedules may be discontinued by either party with notice as determined through local negotiations; (d) Upon written agreement of the Home and the Union, the parties may agree to amend collective agreement provisions to accommodate any innovative unit schedules; (e) It is understood and agreed that these arrangements are based on individual circumstances and each agreement is made on a without prejudice or precedent basis. (f) It is understood and agreed that these arrangements can be utilized for temporary job postings for seasonal coverage (e.g. weekend workers, etc.).

  • Orientation Program The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.

  • Enhanced Services The State encourages the Contractor to cover programs that enhance the general health and well-being of its Hoosier Healthwise members, including programs that address preventive health, risk factors or personal responsibility. These enhanced programs and services are above and beyond those covered in the Hoosier Healthwise program. In addition, all enhanced services shall comply with the member incentives guidelines set forth in Section 6.2.2 and other relevant state and federal rules regarding inducements. All enhanced services offered by the Contractor must be pre-approved by OMPP prior to initiating such services. Enhanced services may include, but are not limited to, such items as:

  • Life support equipment (a) If a person living or intending to live at your premises requires life support equipment, you must: (i) register the premises with your retailer or with us; and (ii) provide medical confirmation for the premises. (b) Subject to satisfying the requirements in the Rules, your premises may cease to be registered as having life support equipment if medical confirmation is not provided to us or your retailer.
