Common use of Subconsultant’s Insurance Clause in Contracts

Subconsultant’s Insurance. If a part of this Agreement is to be sublet, the Consultant shall either: a) Cover all subconsultants in its insurance policies; or b) Require each subconsultant not so covered to secure insurance which will protect against all applicable hazards or risks of loss in the amount so designated. Whichever option is chosen, the Consultant shall indemnify and hold harmless the City as to any and all damages, claims, or losses, including attorney’s fees, arising out of the negligent acts or omissions of its subconsultants.
