Suspension of validity. The operation of the Agreement shall be suspended if the number of Parties becomes less than eight (8) for any period of twelve (12) consecutive months. The provisions of the Agreement shall again become operative thirty (30) days after the number of Parties reaches eight (8). In such situations, the Secretary-General of the United Nations shall notify the Parties.
Suspension of validity. The operation of the present Framework Agreement shall be suspended if the number of Parties becomes less than five (5) for any period of twelve (12) consecutive months. In such a situation, the secretariat shall notify the Parties. The provisions of the present Framework Agreement shall again become operative if the number of Parties reaches five (5).

The operation of the Framework Agreement shall be suspended if the number of Contracting Parties becomes less than four three (43) for any period of twelve (12) consecutive months. In such a situation, the GMRA Secretariat shall notify the Contracting Parties. The provisions of the Framework Agreement shall again become operative if the number of Contracting Parties reaches four three (43).
