Task Description Community Engagement/Outreach Activities. The Coalition understands the importance of tailoring outreach methods to each community/target area and ensuring equal access to project information for sensitive and underserved populations. Methods of equitable community engagement will be employed for this project to include those people most impacted by disparity within the Rio Reimagined project. By using techniques that value the wisdom offered by impacted populations combined with prioritizing the process of trust-building and cultivating space for visioning and imagination are keys to equitable outcomes. Looking outside the normal avenues of communication and creating opportunities for people at the margins to participate in this project, such as convening a “Community of Practicecomprised of people whose voices are often unheard or ignored will be considered as part of outreach activities and will be used as is feasible by Phoenix and the Coalition. Phoenix has used these methods of engagement on other projects and has had success in empowering impacted populations to participate and be heard. The Coalition anticipates hosting three community outreach events during the first year and two events per year thereafter, in addition to sharing project information at other ongoing outreach events. The public will be informed throughout the project, through website and social media postings, City Council reports, fact sheets, press releases, newsletters and community meetings in targeted areas regarding the planned grant activities. Phoenix, Avondale, and Tempe staff will be available at various events (stakeholder meetings, community events) throughout the life of the grant to discuss the grant project. It is anticipated that outreach activities will take place on a quarterly basis, more often as may be required by the site-specific project work. A Brownfields Advisory Committee (BAC) will be established in the 3rd quarter, April-June 2021, comprised of stakeholders as agreed upon by the Coalition members. The BAC will be an ad hoc, voluntary committee and will meet on a quarterly basis for the life of the grant. The purpose of the BAC will be to assist the Coalition with community engagement, site selection and prioritization, cleanup planning, and redevelopment planning. In recognition of the community in the Rio Reimagined area, every effort will be made to provide Spanish translation services for all public meetings and events, including potential Brownfields Community of Practice meetings.   • Community Engagement The HSP will engage the community of diverse persons and entities in the area where it provides health services when setting priorities for the delivery of health services and when developing plans for submission to the LHIN including but not limited to CAPS and integration proposals. As part of its community engagement activities, the HSPs will have in place and utilize effective mechanisms for engaging families, caregivers, clients, residents, patients and other individuals who use the services of the HSP, to help inform the HSP plans, including the HSP’s contribution to the establishment and implementation by the LHIN of geographic sub-regions in its local health system.

  • Professional Development Plan Professional Development Plan (PDP) refers to plans developed by faculty members addressing the criteria contained in Article 22 and Appendix G.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT RELATIONS 30.01 A Labour/Management Relations Committee shall be appointed, consisting of a maximum of two (2) Shop Stewards from the Union, and a maximum of two (2) representatives from the Co-operative. The full-time Union Representative may also attend these meetings from time to time. The Committee shall meet at the request of either party, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Time spent by bargaining unit employees in carrying out the functions of this Committee shall be considered as time worked and shall be paid for by the Co-operative.   • Traditional Medicine Cooperation 1. The aims of Traditional Medicine cooperation will be: (a) to build on existing agreements or arrangements already in place for Traditional Medicine cooperation; and (b) to promote information exchanges on Traditional Medicine between the Parties. 2. In pursuit of the objectives in Article 149 (Objectives), the Parties will encourage and facilitate, as appropriate, the following activities, including, but not limited to: (a) encouraging dialogue on Traditional Medicine policies and promotion of respective Traditional Medicine; (b) raising awareness of active effects of Traditional Medicine; (c) encouraging exchange of experience in conservation and restoration of Traditional Medicine; (d) encouraging exchange of experience on management, research and development for Traditional Medicine; (e) encouraging cooperation in the Traditional Medicine education field, mainly through training programs and means of communication; (f) having a consultation mechanism between the Parties' Traditional Medicine authorities; (g) encouraging cooperation in Traditional Medicine therapeutic services and products manufacturing; and (h) encouraging cooperation in research in the fields of Traditional Medicine in order to contribute in efficacy and safety assessments of natural resources and products used in health care.

  • Enterprise Information Management Standards Grantee shall conform to HHS standards for data management as described by the policies of the HHS Office of Data, Analytics, and Performance. These include, but are not limited to, standards for documentation and communication of data models, metadata, and other data definition methods that are required by HHS for ongoing data governance, strategic portfolio analysis, interoperability planning, and valuation of HHS System data assets.

  • Professional Development Program (a) The parties agree to continue a Professional Development Program for the maintenance and development of the faculty members' professional competence and effectiveness. It is agreed that maintenance of currency of subject knowledge, the improvement of performance of faculty duties, and the maintenance and improvement of professional competence, including instructional skills, are the primary professional development activities of faculty members.
