Teacher Substitutes. A. The Board agrees to continue to provide qualified substitutes to replace teachers absent from school.

Teacher Substitutes. ‌ Each employee will be entitled a substitute for one staff development day as arranged with the building principal. In addition to the aforementioned day, a certificated employee may receive up to two staff development sub days that are donated by another employee(s) per year.
Teacher Substitutes. When a teacher is absent and a substitute teacher cannot be secured for that day, the building principal may request that a regular staff member assume instructional responsibilities. This will be done with the teacher’s approval and shall be limited to two periods per day. The District will pay the teacher at a rate of $28.88 in 2006-07 and $29.96 in 2007-10 per instructional period assumed. For the purpose of this Article, an instructional period shall equal no less than 30 and no more than 40 minutes.

Teacher Substitutes. Paraprofessionals who have a substitute certificate or teaching certificate and are required to substitute teach shall be paid at time and a half of their regular rate of pay.

  • Substitutes 10.5 The responsibility for the selection, orientation and employment of substitutes rests at the local school level. The principal, or his/her designee, shall be responsible for obtaining qualified substitutes. Teachers shall not be required to obtain their own substitutes.

  • Third Party Components The Products and Services may contain third party components (including open source software) subject to separate license agreements.   • Substitute Teachers In lieu of salary under the basic salary schedule, the District shall pay to teachers employed on the basis of the teacher being available for service if and when called upon by the District and known as substitute teachers, an allowance of $182.07 per full day of teaching effective September 1, 2007. Sprint will consider all requests for access to subloops through the ICB process due to the wide variety of interconnections available and the lack of standards.   • Substitution of Key Personnel Consultant has represented to City that certain key personnel will perform and coordinate the Services under this Agreement. Should one or more of such personnel become unavailable, Consultant may substitute other personnel of at least equal competence upon written approval of City. In the event that City and Consultant cannot agree as to the substitution of key personnel, City shall be entitled to terminate this Agreement for cause.   • Substitute Teaching An adjunct faculty member who is interested in a substitute teaching assignment may be assigned to teach as a substitute in a course section for which the adjunct faculty member is qualified to teach. Each semester an adjunct faculty member may submit to the appropriate Xxxx a written request, on a form provided by the College, which shall indicate his/her willingness and availability to act as a substitute teacher and a reliable means by which to contact the adjunct faculty member on short notice. An adjunct faculty member who is selected to substitute teach shall be paid in accordance with Article 8.4.
