Common use of Term, Termination and Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Term, Termination and Effective Date. This Agreement shall be effective upon date set forth below and shall continue in force until terminated by either Party in accordance with this Section 9. The Agreement may be terminated by either Party with written notice to the other Party. Notwithstanding the foregoing, however, termination shall not affect the obligations, representations, warranties and covenants of the Parties outlined in the Contracts or Ancillary Products assigned to Avid, including, without limitation, the survival of Sections 7, 8 and 10 shall survive any termination of this Agreement.
