Termination or Suspension Grievance. The letter of termination or suspension without pay of an employee who has completed probation will include written reasons and will be provided to the employee within seven (7) calendar days of termination or suspension without pay. A discharge grievance is to be submitted as a written statement lodged by the employee with the Employer within fourteen (14) calendar days of the discharge and will be dealt with starting at Article 8.03 of the grievance procedure.

Termination or Suspension Grievance. A claim by an employee that he/she has been discharged or suspended shall be treated as a grievance if a written statement of such grievance is lodged by the employee with the Employer at Step No. 2 within five (5) working days after the date of the discharge or suspension is effected.

  • TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION 10.1.   • Dismissal or Suspension Grievance (a) In the case of a dispute arising from an employee's dismissal, the grievance may be filed directly at arbitration within thirty (30) days of the date on which the dismissal occurred, or within thirty (30) days of the employee receiving notice of dismissal.
