Common use of THE ACADEMY EMPLOYEES Clause in Contracts

THE ACADEMY EMPLOYEES. The Parties intend and acknowledge that the transfer of the Academies pursuant to this Agreement shall constitute a transfer to which the Directive and the Regulations apply and agree that as a consequence that the contracts of employment made between the current employer and the Transferring Employees (save insofar as such contracts relate to benefits for old age, invalidity or survivors under any occupational pension scheme) shall have effect from and after the Transfer Date as if originally made between the Multi-Academy Trust or (as the case may be) a Contractor and the Transferring Employees.
