Common use of The Merchant Clause in Contracts

The Merchant. acknowledges and agrees that the Carrier may transfer the Personal Data to a country outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) in accordance with the Model Clauses, Ad hoc Clauses or other available data transfer solutions under the Regulation and/or Applicable Data Protection Law. The Merchant hereby consents to such transfers and agrees to be bound by the Model Clauses or Ad Hoc Clauses (as the case may be). The Merchant represents and warrants to the Carrier that disclosure of any transfer contemplated will be made in the Merchant’s documentation.
