Common use of The President Clause in Contracts

The President. The President of the Company shall be the Company’s chief executive officer and, subject to the control of the Board, shall have the responsibility for the general direction of the affairs of the Company, and general supervision over its several other officers. The President may sign and execute in the name of the Company (i) all contracts or other instruments authorized by the Board, and (ii) all contracts or instruments in the usual and regular course of business, except in cases when the signing and execution thereof shall be expressly delegated or permitted by the Board or by this Agreement to some other officer or agent of the Company, and, in general, shall perform all duties incident to the office of chief executive officer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him by the Board or as are prescribed by this Agreement.
