Academic may authorize a new position under this article for an academic or a librarian who is the spouse or partner of the following individuals: (a) a candidate who has been recommended for a tenure-track or tenured position, a Continuing Appointment or a position leading to a Continuing Appointment; or (b) a candidate for a senior management position at the University.
