Common use of Time Bank Clause in Contracts

Time Bank. The Time Bank shall continue in operation with the administration of such bank under the control of a committee of six (6) members. The chairman of said committee shall be determined by the Association. The committee shall maintain control of and operation of the Time Bank. The provisions of this Time Bank are for employees only. The Association shall provide the office of the Chief of Police with the name of the current chairman of the committee. A Police Officer may contribute a sick day from his accumulated sick time to the time bank or elect to work a regular day off. However, a Police Officer may only work a regular day off if in so doing his hours worked within the work period will not exceed the maximum non- overtime hours limitation under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Notification of contributions of sick time and hours worked must be provided to the Police Administration in advance.
